We are a friendly group of over 180 people, who are all committed to carrying on learning and making new contacts and friends, now that we are no longer in full-time employment.
As a branch, we are affiliated to the national u3a movement. You can find out more about the wider u3a here.
In our branch, we run a series of interest groups, all of which are led by members. We don’t have any paid tutors, as part of our ethos of encouraging members to share their skills and learning with others. A full list of our current activities can be found on the website .
We have a monthly drop in coffee session which takes place at Oxford House,, Derbyshire Street E2 6HG, just off Bethnal Green road. It takes place from 1030 till noon on the last Friday of every month with the exception of December. It’s an opportunity to come along to meet people, socialise, and find out more about what we do. We also have a number of talks and formal meetings throughout the year. Members get regular updates abut forthcoming activities via email, and also receive our emailed newsletter.
If you would like to join us you can do it online by filling in the form below or print out the form here
